Started in 2017 by creative blogger + digital artist Jenniffer, Life is Messy and Brilliant is a great place to start for all things bullet journal.

Featuring what she calls “girly printables, digital planner tutorials, and college tips”, Jenniffer has posted tons of decoration ideas, layout ideas and handy free printables! What’s not to love?

Little Coffee Fox Website

Little Coffee Fox

Run by a “twenty-something who has always struggled with productivity” by the name of Shelby, Little Coffee Fox was started to as a way to “document my growth, experiment with new techniques, and meet new amazing people with similar goals.”

Now, Little Coffee Fox has gone on to become one of the most popular bullet journal blogs on the internet, with a subscriber base of over 50,000 bullet journalers and 2.9 million monthly unique viewers on Pinterest.

Sheena of the Journal Website

Sheena of the Journal

Born in late 2015 out of a need to get her new Mum-life schedule organised, Sheena decided to start Sheena of the Journal to help share her tips and ideas from her newly-discovered love of bullet journaling.

Posting on a variety of different topics include Art & Inspiration, Parenting, Reviews, Supplies, Journaling Tips & Methods and Productivity & Organisation, Sheena also runs a successful email newsletter which features free bullet journal printables, coupons and inspiration.

If you’re a stationery addict like us, you’re going to love Space + Quiet.

Designer, stationery lover and bullet journaler Tracey has written many easy-to-follow guides on everything from hand lettering to creating future logs, using happy planners for bullet journaling to offering free printables.

Run by NobleKnits founder and bullet journal addict Nancy and her Maltese/Shih Tzu Maggie, Sweet Planit features tons of bullet journal page ideas in a range of styles, doodles for you to try, inspirational quotes, buyer’s guides and so much more.

Our favourite thing: The succulent doodles even I can do (I’m terrible at drawing!)

The Petite Planner Website

The Petite Planner

Started in 2017 by journalling and blogging lover Erin, The Petite Planner has become a well-known name in the bullet journalling world (especially for her impressive free printables).

Erin blogs about a number of topics including intentional living, doodles, her favourite supplies and spread ideas. (She also runs a number of online courses on doodling)

Diary of a Journal Planner Website

Diary of a Journal Planner

Featuring some fantastic art and bullet journaling ideas, as well as themed doodles, Thass and Kirs have done a fantastic job in creating an inspiring blog.

With each of them holding complementary skills (apparently, Thassia is good with numbers, doodling and lettering while Kris is good with new ideas, organisation and creativity), there is sure to be a post or eight that will inspire you to pick up the pen.

Ex-military pilot Megan first started Page Flutter when she dedicated herself to writing from home after the birth of her first child. Now, Page Flutter has gone on to become a popular bullet journal blog for many creative writers and planners alike.

While there hasn’t been much posted on here since late 2018, the inspirational monthly challenges, beautiful decoration ideas and handy bullet journal supply guide are all worth taking the time to read.

On a mission to “give women with no frickin time, easy and effective solutions the crafty shaped hole in their lives.”, Claire and her sidekick cat focus on creating easy-to-follow guides ranging from money management to blogging for beginners.

It doesn’t just stop there though, she also features some creative craft room ideas, lettering tutorials, stationery reviews and so much more.

Build on a belief that “by making our systems beautiful, we will stay much more motivated to keep up with them, and our lives will stay organized.”, self-confessed planner and chocolate lover Laura started I Heart Planners back in 2013 and has become a go-to resource for many like-minded journalers.

Featuring many comprehensive guides, bullet journal templates, free printables and advice on blogging, I Heart Planners is another great blog worth filing under ‘Inspirational’.

YouTube Channels


With over 1.7 million subscribers and 121 million views, AmandaRachLee is easily one of the most popular bullet journalers on YouTube today.

Featuring videos on stationery, lettering tutorials, sketchbook sessions and plan with me’s (also her love of K-Pop!), her loveable personality is bound to strike a chord with a lot of bullet journalers.

Planning With Kay

Since 2013,  Kay has built up over 100 thousand subscribers and has amassed over 5.7 million views.

Featuring plan with me, flipthru and bullet journal idea videos, Planning With Kay is a great channel to add to your YouTube subscription list


While not as large as some of the others on this list with just over 15 thousand subscribers and 480 thousand views, “Architect, Artist and Crazy Cat lady” Jann has some fantastic plan with me, watercolouring, review and unboxing videos.

Her Instagram channel featuring many of her tutorials is also following.
